What it is, peeps? J Powell on the scene reporting from Los Angeles. This week sure has been interesting. First off, the Oysterhead show last Sunday was really weird. I didn’t find myself quite as stoked about their music as I thought I would. It was a combination of the venue’s lameness & sound issues that really bothered me.
Anyhow…I’ve been working like a dog this week, putting in several 10 hour plus days. Also, my bloody laptop has been on the fritz for the past two weeks. I’m updating the filesystem to XFS, and trying to get the new Red Hat Linux release to run on top of it. Needless to say, it is a very time consuming and frustrating task.
This week has been “Blast from the Past” week. I’ve heard from a few people that I’ve either been avoiding, or just lost touch. Everything seems to be going well in everyone’s lives…that’s someting to be stoked about.
I’m heading back to NC after Thanksgiving for a brief visit. That’s about all I have to say about that right now.
Finally, I had an audition for the part of a Frat Boy in an upcoming video production. I guess I will find out soon if I got the part or not. This may sound really cool when you read this. However, I’m not getting my hopes up. My part (if I get it) will probably be cut in the editing process 🙂
