Hi All,
I admittedly have taken poor care of this site over the past several years. I like to chum it up to NDAs at work. Since that is the bulk of what I do outside of family time and the gym, it really limits what I can chat about on a regular basis.
However, enough time has passed where I wanted to write a few updates:
- Parker is growing so fast! She is going to start Kindergarten in a couple of weeks and is extremely excited.
- I am on the road every week now the Dell EMC spreading the gospel of Hyper-convergence. I love talking to customers and partners about VSAN, ScaleIO, and NSX. I will be taking off later today for a run in Detroit and Grand Rapids. Later in August, I will be attending VMworld 2017. I am looking forward to announcements around Horizon View and the next version of vCenter
- The heat in Indy has been especially grueling this summer. It reminds me of being back in North Carolina. We have also had an oddly rainy summer as well. At least my yard is staying green.
- There has been a noticeable lack of concerts I want to attend this summer. We took Parker to see 311 over the 4th of July and were extremely close to the stage (although taking videos with an iPhone always seems to make it appear as if you were far way when you neglect to use the Zoom feature.). Parker had a great time, and learned to throw “horns” which made me super proud!
- We are taking Parker to Disney over Halloween. Dena and I are excited and can’t wait to tell her. We have the flights and hotel locked down. We are gonna do it up right and will be stoked to post pictures.
- Lastly, I am hoping to squeeze in a quick trip to Colorado sometime over the Fall so we can take Parker camping for the first time.
