Holy Cow! It has been crazy around here these past two weeks. I have been working a lot of hours at the bar, insane things have happened to a few friends, & I’ve barely had time to take it all in. Here’s the low-down:
Last weekend someone broke into an acquaintance’s apartment and tried to kill her. The attacker left her for dead, but she managed to get to a friend’s house. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated for multiple stab wounds. I hear they made an arrest today regarding her case. She is very lucky to be alive.
One of my friends recently left his wife after a short marriage. He is having a tough time, but I know he’ll get through. I am going to be there for him as long as it takes to get over the trauma, just like he did for me with Brooke.
On brighter notes, Big Fish came out this week on DVD. It is one of the best movies I’ve seen in the past six months. Go check it out; it almost brought a tear to my eye.
