The long run of vacation time is over for now.
First up was the Indianapolis trip. It sucked we had to go under the circumstances (Scott’s Dad was having heart surgery), but everything turned out better than expected. I got to meet Scott’s crew from back home. Amazingly enough, they seem very similar to my own. We also ate at some great local dives and I discovered the greatest documentary of our time. Its called “Thundercars of Indiana” Its and HBO documentary filmed 5 miles away from one of Scott’s buddies house. Needless to say, I already bought it from Amazon. Be prepared to be wowed.
After Indy, it was time to pack my bags for Vail, Colorado.
I strapped on a snowboard for the first time in 8 years and almost killed myself. Jeff, on the other hand, picked the thing right back up. Hell, on the second day on the slopes, that fool was jumping hills! I started to rock it back out on the second day as well, but didn’t hand with Jeff and John, as not to slow them down.
We ate ate some amazing places…hiked in the snow…hung out in hot springs…great vacation!
