The trip out to LA sure has been an interesting one so far. Check this: The morning I was supposed to head out, my dad wakes me up and tells me my car has been broken into. Low and behold, some punks broke the back glass to my Jeep, and stole my computers and digital camera. There’s nothing like being a computer consultant without a computer. Also, hope no one was expecting neat pictures from this trip…’cause I ain’t got no camera! So, I filed a claim with my insurance company, and waited around all day for my glass to be replaced. Finally, 14 hours after the break in discovery, I’m on the road to L.A. I had been planning on spending a few days in Denver with some of my friends. However, I wasn’t planning on my Jeep bugging out. So, its in the shop as I speek. Hopefully, its getting all of the quarks beaten out of it. And the stupidest thing that’s happened…Yesterday I was in Sam Goodys at the Park Meadows Mall, getting some tunes for the trip. I cruised up to the check out counter and gave some dude my check card. My check card has both my photo and signature built in. This dude asks me for my ID, because I didn’t sign the back of the card. I laughed, and told him to look at the front of the card. He realizes my picture is there, but still wants to see my ID anyway. “Fine…here ya go, dude,” was my reply. Next Sam Goody’s very own Einstein told me I really should sign my card. Once again, I directed him to the front of my check card, where my signature was already located. What a dumb ass. Until I get to L.A…PEACE!
