Parker’s first birthday is coming up and Dena and I are very excited. It really is crazy how quickly she is growing. She started walking on her own a few weeks ago and has really gotten it down pat. She walks so well, daycare has bumped her up to the next room. This is great news, not only for her progress, but for the fact it makes our weekly daycare bill go down!
Work at RCI is going well. I have been having to work at least one weird late night per week lately. However, if things are slow, they are cool enough to let me have flex time. I have been working in VMware a lot lately, working to stabilize their environment.
I have also had the misfortune of some emergency patching to the NVT environment, as Java released some much-needed security fixes. However, Homeland Security still recommends uninstalling it, as there are still tons of other security issues with ALL versions.
My family is coming into town on Friday. I am looking forward to seeing all of them, as the last time we saw them was in June.
On a separate note, Dena and I have been watching quite a few movies lately. Lincoln and This is Forty are both solid. Django Unchained is off the chain! I recommend all three!
