J Powell shouting out from Los Angeles. This will probably be the last update until my flight lands in North Carolina. I will be heading back East on 12/19. I’m sure I will find time over the Holiday to stop by and provide an update on life. So here’s what has been going on lately…
First, Dan Staten, a bro from college is hanging out with Kevin and I. We’ve been working on a ton of tunes, and the boys are excited about recording after we return from the Holidays.
I’ve decided its time to break down and get a dog. After visiting http://www.pugrescue.com, I’ve decided to get a plug once I return from NC. I’m pretty stoked about getting a dog. I’m sure Bailey, the resident begal, will enjoy the company.
The boys went to the Ozomatli concert last night. Yo, ya gotta check them out! This was once of the most exciting shows I’ve seen in a long time.
Other than that, I’m working on the first MAJOR revamping of jpowell.org in 4 years. Its going to be more interactive, and driven by Flash technology. I’ll probably end up dropping the web camera, but keeping Chaos Radio. Let’s face it…I’m never at home, and looking at an empty room is not very visually exciting.
