Greetings all and welcome to an edition of the update I like to refer to as “Getting in Gear”. As I wrote previously, these past several months I have intentionally abandoned the web site due to personal crisis. Now, I am getting back in gear & sharing some exciting news with all of you.
First of all, I spent the July 4th holiday at the beach with my second family a.k.a. the Brooks from Colorado. We had a great time, caught some surprisingly decent waves, skied, and rode jet skis all week.
During the week, a great woman washed up on the shores of Atlantic Beach & I took her to watch the fireworks display. We had a great time and are hanging out quite a bit. Needless to say, I’m pretty stoked.
I am still in the process of getting everything together for the music venue in Norfolk. I am not sure if things will go through, or what time frame this will go down. More on that as it develops.
I have been looking into some employment opportunities and a lot of them are very demanding. All I’ve been able to think about is another employer demanding I go “above and beyond” the call of duty for the company and give more than 100%
Being a very logical person, I thought of the following formula to calculate what it means to give 100%. I also calculated what it means to give more than 100%. I though some of you readers out there may be interested in knowing how to calculate such a thing, so I decided to show you. Dig the following formula:

1+20+20+9+20+21+4=5 = 100%
And,
B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T
21+12+12+19+8+9+20 = 103%
AND, look how far ass kissing will take you.
A-S-S-K-I-S-S-I-N-G
1+19+19+11+9+19+19+9+14+7 = 118%
So, one can then conclude with mathematical certainty:
While Hard Work and Knowledge will get you close, and Attitude will get you there, Bullshit and Ass Kissing will put you over the top.
