I survived Thanksgiving Eve here at Fifty Fifty. I had one chick fight, which resulted in a hole in the wall on the bar side. It presented a great opportunity to go ahead and get other nicks and scratches patched up at the same time.
We were fortunate to gross the same amount of money this year as we did last. Not to mention, there are several other restaurants/bars that have opened since last Thanksgiving. I hope we all make it thru, but it sure is getting tougher.
I was introduced to craigslist last month and bought an awesome 6 seater hot tub from Plymouth, NC. I was able to scrounge up Cody, Luis, and Barfield for the assistance. Thank God there was a piece of PVC pipe there, because there was no way we could lift and carry that thing over the fence!
My nights after work have been comprised of smoking cigars, drinking red wine, and lounging in the hot tub. Truly, life is grand!
The holidays are upon us and it is time to get a little more busy at work. I am ready for January when Jeffrey and I are heading to Colorado for some ski action. Until next time, check out getbeezy.com
